Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation is a conservative and non-surgical treatment program used to correct overactive bladder, pelvic pain and urinary incontinence concerns.

Treatment includes behavioral strategies such as bladder training and relaxation, functional re-training with proper kegels exercises, therapeutic exercises and strength measurements, and E-Stim, which is a program that applies mild electrical stimulation to help strengthen the muscles and calm the bladder.

During your first visit you will meet with your personal pelvic-floor specialist who has been trained in pelvic floor dysfunctions. The first visit usually takes about an hour, allowing time for the specialist to answer any questions or concerns that you may have and to complete the treatment session. All treatment plans are individually created to ensure to most efficient and effective treatment program is provided to the patient. After answering your questions/concerns the E-Stim process will begin and will take up to 30 minutes to complete. Follow-up appointments will take approximately 30 minutes to complete. The program usually takes 6-8 weeks to complete and in most cases insurance should cover a large portion of the cost.
