Practice Administrator
Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Practice Administrator, where you will lead the operational and administrative functions of a busy OBGYN practice. This vital role ensures seamless clinic operations, maintains high-quality patient care, and promotes efficient management of resources. You will oversee staff supervision, financial management, compliance with healthcare regulations, and the implementation of office systems to support optimal practice performance. Your leadership will foster a positive environment that enhances patient satisfaction and staff engagement.
- Manage daily clinic operations, including scheduling, patient flow, and administrative workflows to ensure efficiency and excellent patient experiences
- Supervise medical administrative support staff, including receptionists, billing specialists, and clinical coordinators
- Oversee fiscal management activities such as budgeting, financial reporting, billing processes, and expense control
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations including HIPAA privacy standards
- Coordinate human resources functions including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development in areas like nursing, medical management, and office management
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure proper documentation using EMR (Electronic Medical Record)
- Implement practice management strategies to optimize clinic workflows, manage managed care contracts, and improve utilization management practices
- Proven experience in medical office management with a strong background in healthcare operations and administration
- Demonstrated supervisory experience overseeing teams within a clinical setting
- Extensive knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and healthcare compliance standards such as HIPAA
- Experience managing budgets, financial reports, and fiscal planning for healthcare practices
