What is telemedicine?
Telemedicine is remote diagnosis and treatment of patients by means of technology.
We are currently scheduling telemedicine appointments for our established patients.
At this time, prenatal care using telemedicine is recommended for the majority of our pregnant patients.
How does it work?
- Request an appointment through your [patient portal] or by calling our office at 919-781-5510.
- Our scheduler will provide a date and timeframe in which you can expect to be contacted by our clinical staff via telephone.
- The designated clinical staff will call you to obtain information pertinent to your visit including your preferred method of communication. You will have the option to receive a link via text message or email.
- The telemedicine platform we are currently using is doxy.me. You will use the link provided by doxy.me to be connected via video to one of our providers.
